Standing still through many crisis of the real estate market, Nam Long Group (NLG) immediately started a series of large scale projects of 2020 in the wake of economic recovery after Covid-19.

6 Township projects simultaneously deployed in 2020

With the 681 hectare of land available, NLG planned to put into action 6 township projects at te same time, including Akari City (8.5ha), Mizuki Park (26ha), Waterpoint (355ha), Nam Long Dai Phuoc (45ha) , Waterfront (170ha) and Nam Long Hai Phong (21ha).These projects together will supply more than 15,000 products to the market during 2020-2022. In this year particularly, admist Covid-19 situation, Nam Long still brought about 1,500 - 2,000 products from the Akari City, the Waterpoint and the Mizuki Park to the market with a sales target of VND 6,300 billion.

In addition to affordable housing produtcs such as Valora, Flora and EHome, which have been associated with its brand name, NLG had no hesitation in testing the market with products at different segment and products with unique designs, limited editions to fulfill customer needs. Indeed, limited Dual Key apartment at the Akari City has returned a sales revenue of more than VND 100 billion during the pandemic. NLG has also prepared for the launch of garden villas and shophouses on the 42-meter wide avenue here. At Waterpoint, villas and riverside villas in Aquaria & Rivera subdivision are ready for sale. Some of the units are almost 1,000 meter square large to suit different taste buds of high-class customers. According to NLG, despite the impacts of the pandemic, the demands still remain so having more diversified products and customized based on customer needs will bring more selling opportunities. Besides, NLG’s existing projects are expected to benefit from the upcoming infrastructure projects set out by the government, for example Nguyen Van Linh - Nguyen Huu Tho intersection, metro route 3A. Thus, NLG is very confident with these new small changes.

With Waterfront and Nam Long Dai Phuoc Dong Nai projects, NLG continues the partnership with strategic Japanese partners for development. However, NLG has used more effective methods in beginning phase to fast track the process and reduce investment procedures using capital transfer, contributing VND 725 billion to the total profit of 2020. All activities such as construction, project development and sales will be recorded as regular sales revenue in NLG’s book.

At the same time, NLG has unlocked 40% of the 113-hectare commercial land to improve resident’s quality of life. Large utility system including commercial areas, schools, hospitals ... will be developed at existing townships to increase the township value and provide sustainable funding for NLG’s new projects.

Standardizing contractor selection to fast-track the project

On 15th May, NLG held a signing ceremony of cooperation agreements with a series of well-known construction material and service suppliers to standardize the supply chain and the quality of materials used in all projects, meeting the requirements of each product in order to ensure the quality of end products as well as to easily manage the progress and after-sales services.

Presenting at the ceremony are familiar brands in the construction material industry, such as Jotun Vietnam, Nippon Paint Vietnam (interior and exterior paints), Phan Vu (prestressed piles and concrete structures), An Cuong (wooden doors and wooden furniture), Phuoc Thanh (switches, sockets and Panasonic electrical appliances), PBS Vietnam (wooden floors), DTHome (kitchen appliances, electronic locks, interior / exterior materials), New Land (Casta kitchen cabinets), CND (Aluminum glass), Thu Duc - Long An centrifugal concrete (prestressed piles and reinforced concrete structures), Lixil Vietnam (bathroom equipment, toilets, ceramic tiles branded Inax, Grohe, American Standard), Vina Sanwa, Galaxy Saigon (wood-grained steel door and fireproof steel door), Vinh Tuong (ceiling, plaster wall).

With a collection of partners including Japanese leading urban developers with more than 100 years of experience (Hankyu Hanshin, Nishi Nippon Rail Road, Kepple), top consulting companies in construction and (CM +, TWOG, CPG, Aurecon), prestigious contractors (Hoa Binh, Coteccons) and the recently signed suppliers, NLG is improving its capacity and preparing for the execution of several large-scale townships, proving its strong and rapid recovery after Covid-19.
